Eligibility: Who Can Apply?

You can apply if you are:

  • A content creator or podcaster, aged 18 or above, from Africa or the Diaspora
  • A junior or mid-level journalist working in a media company
  • A freelance journalist from Africa or the Diaspora
  • Someone with a combined audience of at least 2,000 followers across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
  • Passionate about creating stories on jobs, fair pay, and African labor rights

  • Up to $3,500 in micro-grants to fund your story or content
