- A junior or mid-level journalist working in a media company
- A freelance journalist from Africa or the Diaspora
- Someone with a combined audience of at least 2,000 followers across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Passionate about creating stories on jobs, fair pay, and African labor rights
