The VLIR-UOS ICP Connect Study Scholarship for 2025 is designed to support students from 30 eligible developing countries in pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in English at prestigious universities in Flanders, Belgium.
This fully funded scholarship covers tuition, travel, insurance, and living expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: Applicants for bachelor or initial master’s programs must be under 35 as of January 1 of the intake year, and under 45 for advanced master’s programs. Bachelor applicants must be at least 19 years old.
- Citizenship and Residency: Applicants must be citizens and residents of one of the 30 eligible countries at the time of application.
- Background: Preference is given to candidates with experience in higher education, government, civil society, or a career in one of these areas. Newly graduated applicants or those from the private sector are eligible if they have strong motivation.
- Motivation: Candidates must show a commitment to transfer knowledge and contribute to sustainable development, becoming “agents of change” after completing their studies.

- Leave No One Behind: Applicants from vulnerable groups receive priority.
