Austria’s fully-funded summer program, Vienna Biocenter Summer School 2025, is focused on research. Here are the benefits that this summer school offers.

- A stipend of 1400 euros will be given to each participant for nine weeks.
- A complimentary travel permit will be provided to every student during the scholarship period.

Eligibility Criteria
- Life sciences must be the student’s field of study.
- The candidate needs to have a strong academic background.
- The pupils need to speak English well.
- The students have either received instruction as part of the study program or have three months of research experience.
- Participants may be of any nationality and gender.
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements and have finished at least two years of university coursework by June 30 in order to be eligible:
- I’m in my third year of a four-year BA or BSc (Hons) program in life sciences.
- In the fourth year of a four-year Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science (Hons) program in a life science field, intending to apply for a Master’s program (it will be confirmed).
- in the first year of a two-year Master of Science program in a life science field.
- in the second year of a bachelor’s degree program in life sciences at the undergraduate level in the United States.
- in the second year of a four-year BTech program in an Indian life science field.
Application Instructions
The Vienna Biocenter Summer School Online Application is the only way for candidates to apply and also, in accordance with their choices, the applicants must provide three names for the lab heads.
