Victoria University of Wellington Tongarewa International Scholarship as the name implies is made available by the Victoria University of Wellington to celebrate its dedication to the international student community.
Scholarships are awarded competitively on the basis of academic excellence. They enroll to study the year after submitting their application, and their tuition payments will be reimbursed.
Well, Candidates who make the shortlist can be asked to submit more supporting documentation for their application. As long as an accommodation application is submitted to University Accommodation Wellington by the deadline, recipients of these scholarships are assured a spot in one of our residence halls.
However, these scholarships cover a portion of the costs. After the last withdrawal date for the courses the beneficiaries were awarded, around two weeks into the trimester, these scholarships will be applied to tuition expenses.
