The University of Waikato Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship is worth up to NZD$15,000.

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this award;
- Applicants must be talented international students;
- He or she must also be a new student enrolling to pursue an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate programme at the University of Waikato.

- The grading scale of the student’s qualifications or a Conditional or Formal Offer of Place from the University of Waikato

Selection Procedure
- The University of Waikato’s International Regional Managers will shortlist applications and present them to the Selection Panel.
- Scholarships will be awarded based on academic excellence and future potential to serve as global ambassadors for the university.
- The Director of International and the Chair of the Scholarships Committee shall make up the Selection Panel, which will meet regularly to evaluate applications.
- The choices made by the Selection Panel are final, and no communication will take place after the selection meeting.
