Graduate studies in the US are funded by the Fulbright Master’s and PhD Program. These awards, which are supported by the US Department of State, pay for living expenses, airfare, necessary textbooks, tuition, and health insurance. USEFP helps with the visa application procedure as well.
However, eligible candidates for the Master’s program must have completed a four-year Bachelor’s degree or a 16-year formal education program consisting of a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from an approved university. Except those with an MBA and those in public policy or administration, who need two years of work experience, recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Also, eligible candidates for the PhD program must have completed at least 18 years of formal study and hold a Master’s, M.Phil., or equivalent degree from an authorized university. Candidates with prior job experience in Pakistan’s public sector, academia, or research are strongly preferred.
