The University of West London (UWL) is excited to announce the International Ambassador Scholarship for the 2024 academic year. This scholarship is designed to recognize and financially support exceptional students who are committed to representing the University of West London.
Up to £1,000 will be awarded towards the first-year tuition fees for up to 20 outstanding international fee-paying students, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, starting their studies in September 2024.
Overview of the International Ambassador Scholarship
Recipients of this scholarship will act as ambassadors for the University, participating in promotional activities and events organized by UWL. These activities may include interviews and photo sessions conducted by the marketing department, as well as supporting various events hosted by the University and the International Office.
Scholars will not receive any payment for their participation in these promotional activities. Additionally, any intellectual property or other rights created as part of the promotional material will be assigned to the University. UWL reserves the right to revoke the scholarship if the scholar fails to meet the responsibilities and requirements of their ambassadorial role.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the International Ambassador Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Excellence: UWL seeks candidates with a proven academic record and significant achievements who can make notable contributions to the University and the global community.
- Enthusiasm and Commitment: The scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and the potential to be excellent international student ambassadors.
Additionally, applicants must:
- Have received an official offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at UWL, commencing in September 2024. This means they must have applied for a course and received an offer from one of the Admissions Officers.
- Must be self-funded Overseas students and classified as overseas, full fee-paying students.

- Eligible candidates can apply for the International Ambassador Scholarship by completing the application form available on the official UWL website.
- The form must be filled out in its entirety, as incomplete forms will not be considered. By submitting the form, applicants agree to the scholarship terms and conditions.

Application Deadline:
The deadline to submit the scholarship application is 5pm GMT on 31 July 2024 for the September 2024 intake. Decisions will be made within 14 days of the deadline, and successful recipients will be notified via email.
