The Fellowship offers mentorship and training in Leadership, Sustainable Development, Peace, Human Rights, and contemporary global issues.
Since its launch in 2018, the programme has successfully trained six cohorts of young leaders, addressing gaps in youth leadership and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A graduate of a tertiary institution in Ghana, between the ages of 18-30.
- Hold a tertiary education qualification.
- Commit fully to the one-year programme, working on-site at UNFPA Ghana.
- Withdrawals before nine months will not receive a fellowship certificate.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and proactive skills.
- Be proficient in English (all application materials must be in English).
- Demonstrate passion for leadership, sustainable development, peace, and human rights.
- Have experience in social entrepreneurship, innovation, agribusiness, or AI.
- Show interest and dedication to development issues and Ghana’s Agenda 2030.
- Have prior involvement with youth organizations, volunteer work, or UN-related activities.
