The National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU) and ETS TOEFL® have launched the second edition of the UK-India TOEFL Scholarship Programme, offering a remarkable opportunity for ambitious Indian scholars. This initiative aims to support 10 outstanding individuals pursuing full-time, on-campus undergraduate or postgraduate programs at UK universities.

UK-India TOEFL Scholarship Overview

Each successful candidate will receive a one-time grant of INR 2.5 Lakhs (approximately £2,400), intended to alleviate various educational expenses such as tuition, books, housing, and transportation. The selection process involves a panel of representatives from NISAU and UK universities, ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation of applicants.

Benefits

  1. Successful candidates will receive the scholarship amount as a one-time payment of INR 2,50,000 directly to their Indian bank accounts. ETS India will manage the disbursement, requiring awardees to provide their PAN card details and a canceled cheque. Payments are expected to be processed by September 15, subject to information verification.
  2. Beyond Financial Support: Recipients of the UK-India TOEFL Scholarship will also serve as TOEFL Student Ambassadors throughout their studies. This role may include:
  • Representing TOEFL at events and conferences
  • Contributing to marketing efforts through blogs and video testimonials
  • Participating in international student events
  • Engaging with the TOEFL program as a valued alumni

Eligibility Criteria for UK-India TOEFL Scholarship

  • Indian citizenship
  • Offer letter from a UK university
  • TOEFL test score of 75 or higher (out of 120)
  • First-time enrollment in a fee-paying undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree course at a UK university

How do I access my funds if selected?
