This program aims to enhance global understanding and develop leadership skills among outstanding students worldwide by providing an opportunity to study for one semester at a U.S. university.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Global UGRAD Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a citizen or permanent resident of one of the eligible countries (e.g., Nepal, Indonesia, Algeria, Kenya, Ukraine, Vietnam, etc.).
  • Be over 18 years old.
  • Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited university in their home country.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and community involvement.
  • Have strong proficiency in English (some finalists may receive English language training if needed).
  • Be cleared medically for participation in the program.
  • Be eligible for a J-1 U.S. student exchange visa.
  • Commit to returning to their home country upon program completion.
