The Adara Foundation, a non-profit organization in Nigeria, works to empower women and promote education in Africa. They share Oxford’s Saïd Business School’s goal of achieving gender equality in education and supporting a global MBA community with diverse representation.
The Oxford-Adara Foundation MBA Scholarship
The scholarship is open to female African nationals and covers the full MBA program fee and living expenses. To be eligible, candidates must commit to return to their home country after completing the one-year MBA program and contribute to Africa’s economic and social development.
The scholarship is available for the 2024-25 academic year; no separate application is required. Instead, all eligible students will be automatically considered for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
- This scholarship is available to female candidates who are originally from and reside in an African country.
- The scholarship also considers applications from female candidates who are African nationals, with priority given to those from Nigeria.
- To be eligible, applicants must currently reside outside of the European Economic Area (including the UK) and plan to return to their home country after completing the MBA program.
- Applicants must show a strong commitment to contributing to Africa’s development.
- The scholarship will be awarded based on academic merit and achievement.
Additionally Eligibility
- The successful scholar will be required to participate in a project promoting Africa’s development during or after their MBA program, as part of their partnership with the Adara Foundation.
