Microsoft Updated the Surface Duo Emulator app in other to spread inspiration to app makers. This Emulator is expected to include new samples in other to help the developers bring their different ideas to life. Showcasing the Emulator’s code and the final design of a variety of programs. The samples would show us how the apps can be further optimized in other to make to understand how to make use of the surface Duo’s features.
Updated Surface Duo Emulator
The samples have been designed to aid the developers in understanding how to effectively make use of the surface Duo’s two screens, make use of samples like TwoNote (a dual-screen nod to the popular OneNote app) and photo Editor in other to show how the app’s user interface can be separated across both displays.
Hopefully, this would lead to better apps appearing for the dual-screen phone. Developers would also come up with interesting examples on how to implement pen support and widgets that includes an RSS feed, and how to make drag and drop of the content enabled from other application.
