For current fee-paying students who are excelling in their studies, Malm\u00f6 University Scholarships offers a limited number of offers to students. The Malm\u00f6 University Excellence Scholarship (MUES) is given as a tuition fee waiver for the next academic year, covering partial or full tuition fees but no other costs like living expenses.<\/p>\n

Applications are open to fee-paying students who are enrolled in a Malm\u00f6 University program and will begin their second or third year of studies in the forthcoming fall semester. Before submitting an application for a scholarship, students must have finished all of the courses that were part of their study plan.<\/p>\n

However, every year, only a small number of students receive scholarships. In the event that you are not granted a scholarship, you should thus begin making plans well in advance for how you will pay for your tuition and remain in Sweden. Also, tuition payments are due on May 10.<\/p>\n

Brief Description <\/strong><\/h3>\n

A restricted number of scholarships are awarded annually by Malm\u00f6 University to deserving master’s students from outside the EU\/EEA and Switzerland who must pay tuition. These scholarships are given out based on enthusiasm, experience, and academic merit. They pay for tuition in full or in part, but they don’t pay for living expenses or other costs.<\/p>\n

Going further, if students who are accepted into two-year programs successfully finish their first year of study and fulfill the requirements for advancement (minimum 22.5 credits each semester, minimum 45 credits per academic year), they will be eligible to keep their scholarship for the second year.<\/p>\n

In April, the scholarship application period for the upcoming school year begins.<\/p>\n

The Malm\u00f6 University Master’s Scholarship is open to students who have applied for a master’s degree taught in English and who fulfill all of the requirements listed below:<\/p>\n
