This opportunity specifically aims to recognize programs that have effectively engaged students between the ages of 11 and 22, especially those who are thought to be underrepresented in STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. Eligibility Criteria for the NAAEE Global E-STEM Award

To be considered for the NAAEE Global E-STEM award, applicant organizations must meet the requirements below:

  • The organization must be an academic institution, university, or an organization with tax-exempt status under section 501(c) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, or a non-governmental organization in their respective country with equivalent status.
  • They must not be under U.S. or other governmental sanctions.
  • Organizations are expected to have a functioning bank account capable of receiving electronic funds in USD, not subject to sanctions.
  • They must demonstrate financial and administrative stability.
  • Implement programs for students aged 11-22. Administer programs between December 2024 and October 2025.
  • Submit applications online via Submittable by 11:59 PM U.S. Eastern Time on Monday, July 8, 2024. Only English submissions will be accepted.
  • Awardees are expected to attend a virtual one-hour orientation in late 2024.
