- You must have completed the 200 level (second year) and be proceeding to the 300 level, or currently be in 300 level.

- For universities and colleges of education: A minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 3.5 on a 5.0 scale (Second Class Upper Division).
- For polytechnics: A minimum CGPA of 3.0 (Upper Credit) from the OND program and proof of admission into the HND program.
- Direct entry students: Must have a CGPA of 3.0 (Upper Credit) from OND and be admitted into the 300 level at a public university.
