In the pursuit of higher education, financial barriers often stand in the way of talented international students. Recognizing this challenge, MPOWER Financing has introduced a scholarship program specifically designed for MBA students who aspire to study in the United States or Canada.
MPOWER Financing MBA Scholarship
This scholarship offers up to $10,000 in funding to international students. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in an MBA program at one of their partner schools, but you don’t need to be a current MPOWER borrower to apply.
Scholarship Benefits
- Grand Prize: US$10,000
- Honorable Mentions (2): US$2,000
Eligibility Criteria
In order to qualify for the scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled in a full-time MBA program at a US or Canadian school that MPOWER supports
- Be an international student holding a valid visa to study in the United States or Canada.
- If studying in the US, you must have a valid visa or be protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program
- If studying in Canada, you must have a valid Canadian study permit
- Note that US citizens studying in the US and Canadian citizens studying in Canada are not eligible for this scholarship.
