Each year, MPOWER awards scholarships to international and DACA students who are enrolled at institutions supported by the organization. The Global Citizen Scholarship, provided by MPOWER, is specifically tailored to assist international and DACA students.
Its objective is to nurture graduates who are globally aware, multilingual, and culturally competent, equipped to tackle critical global challenges in fields such as science, technology, business, and public policy.

Eligibility Requirements for MPOWER Financing Global Citizen Scholarship
- To qualify for the MPOWER scholarship, you must be admitted to a full-time degree program at a U.S. or Canadian institution supported by MPOWER and be an international student with legal authorization to study in the respective country:
- For studying in the U.S., this includes holding a valid study visa, DACA status, or Green Card
- Studying in Canada, includes being a Canadian permanent resident or having a valid study permit.
Please note that this scholarship is intended for international and DACA students only; therefore, U.S. citizens applying to study in the U.S. and Canadian citizens applying to study in Canada are not eligible.

Selection is based on the applicant’s ability to contribute to their field and tackle global challenges. The application process assesses candidates’ experiences, goals, and dedication to making an impact.
