The iPhone 12 is said to be unveiled on the 13th of October, 2020, at 10 AM PT (1 PM ET, 6 PM BST). There hasn’t been released words yet on the price or release date. Apple’s invite which has some clues on it currently has an Apple logo inside circles with different hue colours of blue, orange, and red all together with a pun “Hi, Speed”. Also, Apple is expected to announce a new over-ear headphone (rumoured as AirPods Studio) during this upcoming event, bringing ideas whether the circles have to do with audio sounds. Though Apple has removed competing headphones from its store due to the event.
On the Apple website, also includes an augmented reality trick as it had from last month’s event. This is with the circles on the invite turning into floating orbs that reveals the date of the event; October 13th, 2020.
Expected Features
Apple is expected to upgrade the yet to launch iPhone 12 device features which include a quality camera, faster chipset and the company’s latest software; iOS 12. It may also include an iPhone 12 mini for users who strive for it and aren’t pocket-friendly. The iPhone 12 won’t include a Touch ID button like the new iPad Air.
