Undergraduate students can receive up to $36,000 over four years, while Graduate students are eligible for annual awards of $5,000 (Master’s) or $9,000 (Doctoral). Please note that there is no separate application required, as all admitted international students are automatically considered

Financial Benefits

Undergraduate Scholarship Tiers:

  • Blue Scholarship: $5,000/year (GPA > 3.0)
  • Gold Scholarship: $7,000/year (GPA > 3.5)
  • Elite Scholarship: $9,000/year (GPA > 3.75)

Graduate Scholarship Tiers:

  • Master’s Merit Scholarship: $5,000/year (GPA > 3.0)
  • Doctoral Merit Scholarship: $9,000/year (GPA > 3.0)

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must posses an offers to pursue an eligible program at ETSU as a degree-seeking student
  • F-1 or J-1 student visa (or plans to obtain one)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA in previous coursework:
  • Freshmen: High school GPA
  • Transfer students are required to provide their previous university coursework
  • Graduate applicants must hold an Undergraduate GPA

Ineligibility Factors:

  • Second Bachelor’s degree applicants if previous degree was from ETSU
  • Students paying in-state or E-Rate tuition
  • Applicants to M.D. or PharmD programs
  • Students without active F-1 or J-1 status

Award Terms:

  • Undergraduate: Limited to 8 semesters
  • Graduate: Limited to 5 semesters or program length
  • Recipients cannot combine this award with other scholarships covering out-of-state/international tuition
