The scholarship for 2024 is designed to assist undergraduate students who have shown academic prowess and a deep connection to their Edo roots. Scholarship Benefits 

  • The Edo Club of New Jersey, USA, has acknowledged the difficulties faced by many students in affording higher education. To address this issue, the club is establishing a scholarship fund to support students from Edo State who are in need of financial assistance. The selection process will consider various factors, including the student’s character, financial situation, academic performance, community involvement, and leadership skills.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Only Edo state indigenes are eligible to apply.
  • All applicants must be enrolled as full-time students in their second year or higher at a federal or state university, polytechnic, or college of education.
  • To be eligible, all applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.0 on a 5-point scale or 5.0 on a 7-point scale.
  • For NCE and HND applicants, a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 4-point scale is required.
  • The scholarships are only available for students in Nigeria and will take effect at the beginning of the academic session.
