The ABK Physics Scholarship aims to provide opportunities for Zamfara state students pursuing physics programs at any federal or state university in Nigeria. Dr. Aliyu Bala, a senior lecturer in physics at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, established this scholarship to support talented students from Zamfara State.

Two deserving candidates, one male and one female, will be chosen to receive a semesterly upkeep allowance of #200,000 and full tuition fees for 3 years, contingent upon their academic achievements.

Eligibility Criteria
If your Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is below second-class upper division, please don’t apply for this highly competitive scholarship. Male and female applicants must have the highest CGPAs among applicants of their respective genders. The selection process for the scholarship includes the following set of criteria:
- Candidates must have completed their first year of studies before the application deadline.
- To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be natives of Zamfara State.
- Candidates must be enrolled in a physics program in any federal or state university in Nigeria.
Application Documents
After completing the form, applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- A letter confirming their enrollment in a study program.
- A current academic transcript.
- An indigene certificate.
- A passport photograph.
