  • Are making positive contributions to society through civic engagement or volunteer work.
  • Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate familiarity with and support for CCMW’s mission to affirm the identities of Muslim women in Canada through faith, social justice, and community engagement.

  • A 1-2 minute video or audio explaining why you are a worthy recipient, highlighting your civic engagement, volunteer activities, academic achievements, significant accomplishments, and future goals. If video or audio is a barrier, a 500-word essay can be submitted.
  • Summary of financial need.
  • Two letters of reference from a teacher, professor, or someone familiar with your community service. A reference from a CCMW member familiar with your accomplishments is also acceptable.
  • Most recent academic transcript.
