Capital University is accepting eligible candidates for the 2024 Main Street Scholarship to provide them with the chance to enrol in one of the school’s undergraduate programmes. If you are granted the Main Street Scholarship award, you will be qualified to receive a $100,000 scholarship, which will be paid over four years to help with your tuition.

Successful application for scholarship and grant will be based on the information provided by applicants on their admission application, there are no separate scholarship application.
The Lutheran Church founded Capital University in 1830 and granted it a university charter in 1850. Since then, the university has built a community of students, teachers, staff, and alumni dedicated to making a positive impact on their communities and chosen fields.

Benefits of the Main Street Scholarship Award
- The Scholarship is awarded to students who are successfully admitted to study an eligible programme at Capital University.
- The grants range from $20,000 to $25,000 per academic year ($80,000 to $100,000 over four years).
- The Scholarship is renewable for a duration of four (4) years.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for the Main Street Scholarship at Capital University, you need to:
- Be a first-time student at Capital University
- Apply as a first-time undergraduate possess a minimum 3.0 high school GPA, a minimum 970 SAT score, or an optional 21 ACT score.
- Traditional test results are not necessary, but they are welcome to be submitted, as Capital is test optional.
