Apple Spring Event 2021

The Apple Spring Event 2021 is tagged ‘Spring Loaded’. And while the event itself is now confirmed, what we’ll see there is not confirmed yet. And also, the list of potential candidates is long.

From a brand-new iPad Pro to the iPad mini 6, Apple AirTags, and beyond, April 20 might be a busy day for Apple and its fans. And you will find full details of all the rumored announcements.

Expected Date And Time Of Event

The Apple spring event 2021 is being fixed for the 20th of April. This isn’t a rumor as we all know this since Apple has now sent out invitations for the event.

It will be an online-based event for sure, due to the covid 19 pandemic outbreak. So, you will be able to watch the event from Apple’s website. It kicks off at 10 am PT/1 pm ET/6 pm BST, or 2:30 am ACT on the 20th of April.

What To Expect At The Apple Spring Event 2021

While we don’t know obviously what we’ll see at the event 2021, we’ve got an idea of what could be present, with other things being the most likely.

Here are some of the products to be announced and expected in the Apple Spring Event 2021:

iPad Pro (2021)

The iPad Pro (2021) might result being the headline announcement of the Apple Spring Event. This doesn’t mean the device will be unveiled at the event.

But it’s unlikely that Apple would have two different sets of announcements so close, and Prosser has suggested that it may come up at this event.

It suggested that this device might have a Mini LED screen. Offering an improved contrast ratio and color reproduction over a standard LCD display.

We’ve also heard that it’ll be available in both 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes. It might support 5G, have a strong new chipset, and have a tweaked but similar design to its predecessor.

iPad mini 6

We might get to see the iPad mini 6 at the spring event. There are few rumors of the release date about the iPad mini 6. So, we’d say it’s less likely to be announced than the iPad Pro (2021).

Whenever it does arrive, rumors suggest it’d have a rather larger 8.5-inch screen. It would also come with the Lightning port rather than USB-C. And use an A13 Bionic chipset, just like the iPhone 11 range.

Apple AirTags

The other thing that we would well see is the long-awaited Apple AirTags. Jon Prosser suggested it would come up in March. But the Apple Spring Event 2021 would be the perfect time for it to be announced.

These are expected to be item trackers similar to Tile Trackers. So, uses would be able to fit them into their properties like bags, wallets, or phones. And then track the property if lost or stolen.

AirTags are likely to take more advantage of Apple’s Find My functionality. And could be able to use the vast network of users’ iPhones to assist with the tracking.

Apple AirPods 3

A number of sources have suggested that AirPods 3 might land within the top half of the year, and possibly at the spring event.

This may need shorter ear stems, just like the AirPods Pro. And should feature pressure-relieving air vents to make them comfortable to wear for long periods.

They could also have additional fitness features, like the ability to use light to measure heart rate or blood oxygen.
