The Daniels Scholarship is designed to provide needed support to ambitious and driven students who demonstrate leadership potential, strong moral character, and a commitment to community service. This program will make college accessible for motivated and goal-oriented students.
Daniels Scholarship Program Details
The Daniels Fund seeks students who exhibit significant potential, robust character, and lofty dreams, embodying the values of Bill Daniels. Daniels Scholars are the future leaders of America, overcoming life’s challenges and dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities.
It aims to cultivate the next generation of leaders committed to positively influencing their communities by offering financial aid and a comprehensive support system. This scholarship is available to high school graduates from Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, assisting them in achieving their academic and professional goals.
Eligibility Requirements for Daniels Scholarship 2025
Prospective Candidates must meet the requirements below to be eligible:
- Graduating high school seniors
- They must be resident in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming.
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Posses a minimum high school GPA of 3.0.
- Meet the minimum SAT (490 Math, 490 Evidence-Based Reading & Writing) or ACT (18 in each category) scores.
- Demonstrate financial need with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $100,000 or less on the 2023 federal tax return, with allowances for additional income based on the number of dependents.
Benefits of the Daniels Scholarship

The program will cover the recipient’s full cost of attendance at partner schools within the four-state region or award up to $25,000 per year for schools outside the region.
- The scholarship covers tuition and fees, cost for accommodation, books and supplies, and other educational expenses.
- Recipients also receive laptop computer and ongoing support throughout college.

The Daniels Scholarship Program – How to Apply
To apply for the Daniels Scholarship Program, follow these steps:
- Submit applications online through the application portal between September 16 and October 18, 2024.
- Semi-finalist applicants will be invited to submit essay responses and letters of recommendation between October 28 and November 15, 2024.
- In January, all semi-finalists will be notified if they have been selected as finalists.
- Finalists will be invited for a personal interview.
- Local community leaders will conduct interviews in February and March.
- The Daniels Fund will announce Daniels Scholars, who must attend the scholarship orientation conference with all expenses covered.
