The CLIC Agrifood Investment Connector Program offers targeted investor engagement, helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) attract the funding they need to grow and scale their impact.
About the Program
The Agrifood Investment Connector is a unique platform created by the ClimateShot Investor Coalition (CLIC) to close the gap between promising agri-enterprises and potential investors.
The program aims to empower climate-resilient agricultural SMEs in emerging markets by offering hands-on investor readiness support and access to funding networks.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the CLIC Agrifood Investment Program 2025, your business must meet the following requirements:
- Be a legally registered for-profit enterprise working in agriculture or food systems.
- Operate primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Be at an early or growth stage, post-revenue, and have at least:
- Two years of operational history, and
- One year of audited financial statements.
- Be actively seeking investment through equity or debt financing (grant-supported strategies are also considered).
- Already implementing or planning to adopt climate-positive or nature-positive practices in your operations, or offering climate-smart products or services within the agrifood sector.
- Have a management team of at least two members, with one team member dedicated to engaging throughout the program as the primary contact.
