About the Scholarship
The DSM-Firmenich Progress Foundation Scholarship is designed to empower young leaders who are actively working to create positive change in their communities.
By attending the One Young World Summit, scholars will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, gain insights from global leaders, and amplify the impact of their initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be aged between 18 and 30 years at the time of the summit (exceptions considered for outstanding candidates).
- Reside in Africa, Asia-Pacific, or Latin America
- Have 3–5 years of experience in business, preferably running their own enterprise.
- Be making a positive impact in one of the following areas
- Fighting malnutrition
- Strengthening community resilience
- Protecting and restoring ecosystems
- Demonstrate a commitment to driving change and a willingness to engage with the global community.
What the Scholarship Covers
Selected scholars will receive:
- Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany
- Hotel accommodation in Munich from October 31 to November 8, 2025
- Economy-class travel to and from Munich.
- All meals during the summit (breakfast, lunch, and dinner on conference days).
- Ground transportation between the summit accommodation and venue.
- Participation in a pre-programme in Munich and the opportunity to join the DSM-Firmenich delegation during the summit.
