The WTO Young Trade Leaders Program is designed to create a global network of exceptional young individuals who understand the positive impact of trade on people and the planet.

Eligibility Requirements for WTO Young Trade Leaders Program 2025
To be considered for the WTO Young Trade Leaders Program 2025, applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 30 years old by the application deadline.
- Have a strong interest in international trade.
- Be a citizen of a WTO member country.
- Not be currently affiliated with the WTO, nor have a relative who is WTO-affiliated.
- Have strong written and spoken English skills; proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus.
- Exhibit diplomacy, respect for diverse perspectives, and a commitment to fostering constructive trade discussions.
- Be committed to participating fully in the one-year program (July 2025 – June 2026).
